translation of ji

Hi everybody,

Anyone know the translation of " ji " used in Blue Poppy's translation

of Fu Qing Zhu's Gynecology (ie page 57, " Eight ji taken in succession

and the menstruation will recover it's free flow " )?

Ji4 (¼Á) is a common word that can mean formula, packet, or dose. IMO, the

below usage means 8 packets in a row, and this is probably 8 days of the Rx.

But to be sure I would have to see the original Chinese.

It means packet or package.
