I was cleaning up my email when I came across the article re: Brien's

death. I knew Brien from Emperors. We were not friends. I was working in

the front desk when he was an intern. He had a great personality and a warm

smile.

He had been a surfer for a long time and I was just starting out. I am

sorry for his passing.
