ginseng capsules and acup insurance question

Dear group:

I have two questions on very different topics that have come up

recently.

1) On ginseng. I sell KPC's Xi Yang Shen to a patient in the

granular form. We are interested in having some of it put into

capsules, but I don't have the equipment. Does anyone know a

reliable source for getting this done?

2) On billing insurance companies: Do most acupuncturists bill for

just the acupunture codes, or do you include billing for infrared,

moxa, office visit, etc.? My training was to bill for everything

that was done. An acupuncturist in Michigan just told me he thought

most acupuncturists 'don't go too deep' in their billing and only

bill for the acupuncture codes. I find now when I bill for 2 units

of acupuncture, many insurance companies come back to me and say the

2nd code is only for 're-insertion' and will only pay the first 15

minute time frame.

Thanks for any information you might have.
