Guest guest
I have found that supplementing either magnesium or trace minerals can help restless leg syndrome, especially taken in the early evening [particularly with yin deficiency symptoms]. I have successfuly use a magnesium product called Natural Calm, which the patient mixes with juice or water before bed. www.vites.com. It is my belief that there is a mineral deficiency in the body, which triggers this syndrome. We are often so concerned with getting enough calcium in our diet, but forget about the other important minerals that are also required to work in unison for proper functioning of the system overall. I also have found that recommending a warm bath with epsom salts before bed can help alot. Best of luck, Linda Umla, L.Ac.
