Guest guest
Jan - The pills your mother had are a homeopathic remedy. If you are concerned about her taking arsenic, and aren't familiar with homeopathy, a google search of the word " homeopathy " should put your mind at ease. Guest guest
well, I wasn't really concerned so much about the arsenic point of view as we are with any medication. we had to put her meds in one of those day by day things, but that didn't work because she couldn't remember if she took them or not so now a nurse gives her meds to her and they are put up out of her reach. I'm not real familiar with homeopathy, do use some natural treatments. Thanks. JanG in MI essentialherbal wrote: > Jan - > The pills your mother had are a homeopathic remedy. Anyway, I saw one that was WAY over-functional for me, but would be good for many. Not only was it day by day, but dose by dose - truly cool! You fill it up and the patient sets a timer (if necessary I guess) and then takes the contents from the current dose. It had about 5 doses per day too. I saw it at Wal-mart. Susan H. Guest guest
I tried those cute little boxes and it was a joke given the amount of stuff my kid was taking. So, I made a spreadsheet with five day parts: wake-up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime and a final column for the prescribing source. Each pharmaceutical and supplement was listed along with dose of relevant dayparts. THis hung on the refrigerator. Hope this helps mjh Message: 10 Sun, 15 Jan 2006 08:53:19 -0500 " Susan Harkins " <harkinsss RE: Re: question from lurker ========This probably is of no help to you in your situation, but I recently went looking for a day by day box for supplements -- I had trouble remembering how many I'd taken -- I take most when I eat.
