I've found that the bright spark actually helps my daughter (which I refuse to have her diagnosed with it even though she has a 60%chance of having it already, but I've been giving her the bright spark and it helps a lot... I even take it when I'm not taking my ritalin (I'm moderate to severe AD/HD and I need ritalin to drive and to study, but only take it when I'm doing either one of those.) other than that.. Chamomile to calm him, or you could try calm child... I forget who makes it but when my nephews used to get wired my sister in law would give that to them. BTW what tests did they do... And if you need help in dealing with trying to get through to him email me because I have soooooo been there done that.. And I had to learn on my own how to translate " societal norm thinking " into " my thinking " And I think ADD/ADHD is a wonderful gift... That can be misconstrued as a burden.... Jennifer aammom615 Hi everyone!!! Does anyone know an herb that mimicks ADD drugs like Ritalin or Concerta? My teenage son was just diagnosed with ADD, and I do not want him on these drugs like the doctor recommended. I like herbs much better but am not sure if there is a similar herb that mocks these stimulants? Thanks for ANY and all help!! Guest guest
Where would you find the " bright spark " at? Health Food Store or online? I haven't been diagnosed but my son has and my brother is blessed with this.
