Anyone have any seeds, or plant cuttings they want to swap? Don't go

posting your address to the list now *lol*, but if you are interested,

make mention of it here and I'll begin to coordinate it - and get

volunteers to help *lol*!

I know I have some spearmint, pineapple sage, jasmine sambac and banana

plants to share!

Chris, I just moved to TX from Wyoming, and it is like going from the North

Pole to Paradise! (Well, at least garden-wise!) I know you're in the

Houston area, so you have it even warmer than I do!

I would like to purchase herb plants, as I'm going to buy them from someone

anyway...so if there's anyone in NE Texas that has herbs and would just

like a few $$$, let me know. Unfortunately, I have nothing to swap!

Bj,

If worse comes to worse you can always run out to Wal-Mart they usually

start getting in herbs about now and that's where I got my chocolate mint

and I kept it going for about 5 years... I just didn't have rich enough

soil to keep it alive... And it's supposed to be an invasive plant...

Hi K,

Girls are harder to raise then boys. IMO.

Even with teenage grandchildren I'm watching it with them.

Only 12, you have your work cut out for you. LOL

look in my seed box.

Every kitchen should have an Aloe Vera Plant in it!

It, along with German Chamomile and Lavender EO (my fave these days is

the High Altitude Wildgrown) is the most wonderful thing for burns!

Hi Jeanne,

Welcome to TX .. I hear ya about that climate change! We moved here from

Colorado 2 years ago, where I lived for 7 years, and I had lived in NYC

for my entire life before that. Its definitely a different climate, and

the whole tropical thing is still new to me, but I'm really going to try

hard this year to go with the flow and just jump right into it! <grinz>

I have some plants I can send you just for the shipping cost - want some

spearmint? ;)

You know you guys are jusp plain lucky.

I live in Northern Alberta where not much grows. I am searching for

herbs that are not annuals here. Everything is an annual...lol ...

except the weeds. I am also looking for books with colour pictures of

the weeds that we have, just in case they are a great herb find?

Well anyways you make me want to do all my gardening indoors. I mean

even our list pals in British Columbia have better weather than us. I

am in a zone 2A or 2B depending on the map you look at.

Like I say you are just plain lucky you can have all those great plants.

<sigh>
