Guest guest
Josh, Maybe you could get the person use to recycling a little at a time. Last week, I had a pkg. Used a recycled US Priority box. It was heavy, so it was just going book rate. I thought. Anyone could tell it was a recycled box. Even covered almost everything that said it was Priority. So much for recycling. Post Office made me pay Priority are it was a box that came from them. Guest guest
I can't imagine that's the real reason, is it? Susan H. Is it wrong to break up with someone because they won't recycle?
Guest guest
Hi Josh, If its a matter of breaking up while all is going well just cause one person is not into recycling - then that is a pretty flippant reason. BUT if it is a matter of the 2 folks having conflicting lifestyles, views and values in general (which include the recycling issue), that can be serious reason for folks to not want to stay together. For some, being with a partner who views the world quite differently than they do is exciting, but for many, its just a constant source of irritation *Smile* Chris (list mom - who is constantly taking plastic bottles out of the trash and putting them into the recycling bin Concentrated Handmade Liquid Soaps All Natural, Perfect For The Body & Home <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/liquidsoapbase.htm> http://www.alittleolfactory.com/liquidsoapbase.htm Joshua Alexander Is it wrong to break up with someone because they won't recycle? -Josh
Guest guest
Depends on who you'd rather hug more - a tree or the person! No, just kidding. Recycling and the benefits of recycling are something that need to be learned. It also requires patience from both parties to teach it, learn it, and practice it so that it's not something you " have to do " , but simply something that you do. Not recycling is not a good reason to break up with someone. It's lame. If someone tried to use that excuse to break up with me, I wouldn't accept that reason as truth. Guest guest
If someone used 'doesn't recycle' as an excuse to break up, I agree with Karen, I wouldn't accept that reason as the truth either. OTH, I might conclude that the person has 'issues' that I'd rather not want in my life anyway. ~Pamela Friday, January 20, 2006 10:22 AM Not recycling is not a good reason to break up with someone.
