Folks will note that on my site I don't list the therapeutic properties

on ANY essential oil .. though I do write often on various oils. Some

of the reasons why I avoid listing such things ..

 

1. My web site is not a source for research .. or for other sellers to

copy the data for use on their sites. ;-)

 

2. If I can't back it with research I won't even write on it .. there

is enough marketing hype out and about without me adding to it. ;-)

 

3. I do sell two reference publications on essential oils ..

 

a. One that contain various Traditional and Esoteric uses for

this and that EO .. Sylla Sheppard-Hanger's " Aromatherapy Practitioner

Reference Manual " in two volumes http://www.av-at.com/manual01.html ..

 

b. Martin Watt's Safety Manual " Plant Aromatics " that provides

scientifically proven data on safe dilution for dermal application of

various EO. The old edition was $75 .. I published the new, revised

edition and offer it for $44.90 .. it can now be seen and ordered at URL

out in November 2001 and is now in the Fifth Printing. I am exclusive

dealer for North and South America.

 

I'll tell you that a FEW of the uses for Black Spruce (Picea mariana)

are stress relief, muscle aches & pains, and respiratory problems.

 

And .. thought I make no claims of its effectiveness .. I am diffusing

it and some other harmless oils because I think they MIGHT BE helpful in

preventing Bird Flu .. they can't be harmful .. and as you folks know, I

am in the middle of an area where its kicking butt now.

 

And .. its been tested safe for dermal application at a 1% dilution.
