Guest guest
Hi Bree, Third try on this one .. is bouncing my mail. ;-) > I have a tooth powder question.... > > I mixed up some baking soda, salt, and EO's just like a formula > stated. But my concern is that the EO's are not diluted so should > I worry about sensitization? It would be sort of difficult to dilute EO in a powder .. but still there is a matter of the percentage of EO vs volume of the base. In addition to dilution (strength) is the issue of frequency of use. The more often we use any EO the more chance we have for sensitization. If you (or the one who wrote the formula) don't know the safe dilution for the essential oils used .. there is cause for worry. Odds are that the one who wrote the formula is doing what many folks in this industry are doing .. passing along information they know little about .. we see daily recipes for this and that and the majority of those sending the recipes have not used them - they're just passing them along. My recommendation has always been that .. if we're gonna do anything with an Essential Oils besides sniff it or diffuse it .. then we need to know the proven safe dilution .. either that or guess and keep our fingers crossed. Plant Aromatics provides the information we need. http://www.av-at.com/plantaromaticsavnp.html > Thanks > Bree Fer'shur .. and y'all keep smiling. :-) Butch http://www.AV-AT.com
