Guest guest
Recently I saw a recipe for a nail brightener that used i denture tab, 2 drops EO, and 1 cup of water. What is in those denture tabs? Bleach? I was thinking that you could make your own as you would bath bombs but what would you use for the whitener? -- Birdie

What is in those denture tabs? Bleach? My DH (who is a dentist) says they usually do not use bleach in those tablets here in Canada or the USA. Bleach will desolve the denture it self. He says they usually use oxygen. But he says to read the label on the pgk it should tell you. Barbara
Guest guest
as someone who wears dentures, there is no way in h*ll I am going to soak them in bleach and put them back in my mouth !! There are no ingredients listed on the box of cleaning tablets. I even checked on every brand at the store yesterday and none of them list any ingredients. I know that baking soda is a great cleaner for most everything and helps to whiten your sink when used as a scrubbing powder. Paula .......... in Michigan I used to have super powers but my therapist took them away , bird legs <legsster wrote: > > Recently I saw a recipe for a nail brightener that used i denture tab, 2 > drops EO, and 1 cup of water. Guest guest
Thanks for the feedback Barbara and Paula (I meant no offense) on the denture tabs. I had looked at several packs, too, and found no ingredient list. I thought maybe they were baking soda, citric acid, and some additional cleansing agent(?). Thanks again, Birdie
