Hi Halina

In the above link you can also find for exemple that you can have EO

from lilac.

Nowadays, in real life and not on paper, there is no EO from these

plants, I think because it is to expensive to obtain them. The

perfumery industry uses only synthetic and AFAIK, you will not find

EO on the market.

Bella,

Interesting you should mention this. I've been wondering for years - not

being a chemist, it's easy for me! - how come some of the most aromatic

plants are so stingy, so reluctant to part with their essences? It's

true for Melissa and Rose, but it also seems to be true for all of the

plants named in my original post - all of which possess very strong and

very pleasant aromas.

I can't help but start thinking about Lora Jansson and her shamanistic

approach to essential oils. :)

Cheers,

Nika
