Guest guest
Dear Chris, Do you have any references regarding the danger of using cornstarch? Apart from the fact, that is , that it is usually made from GMO corn...... Next season, I shall be demonstrating how to make powders to our Herb Society, and would love to know the references that you used to change to tapioca powder..............herbally yours Penny Penny Khaled http://www.geocities.com/pennykhaled75 http://www.organicnutrition.co.uk " Cheerfullness, sir, is the principle ingredient in the composition of Health " ..Arthur Murphy (18th C. Guest guest
Hi Penny, Years ago I knew a gent. who had a candida issue and he was told by his doctor (a conventional doc) that cornstarch (among other things) can aggravate the condition because it essentially provides food and fuel for the yeast. He was told to steer clear of it internally and externally. I also know a gal whose baby had a bad diaper rash that turned out to be a yeast infection and was told by her family doc (holistic) not to use talc or cornstarch powders (talc because of the concerns surrounding its use and cornstarch 'cause of the " feeding the yeast " issue), but instead to dust the baby's bottom with tapioca starch powder or kaolin clay, and to keep the area aired out as much as possible. I'd have to look through some of my books to get you more info and maybe point you to some more solid references. In the meantime, here are some quick I-net snippets about the topic. http://familydoctor.org/healthfacts/051 http://tinyurl.com/7vtnd *Smile* Chris (list mom) New Items And A Fantastic Pre Buy To Be Unveiled On The Site This Week! <http://www.alittleolfactory.com/> http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of Penny Dear Chris, Do you have any references regarding the danger of using cornstarch?
