RE: What do you think about these brands of essential oils?

The mgr of our vitamins dept says she has doubts about NOW brand’s quality,

although I’ve used them for years. I also use Aura Cacia. Don’t know

Camden Grey. We carry Aura Cacia and Oshadhi. I’ll see if I can find out

anything more specific at work today.

Now Sucks and Aura Cacia is so-so. Problem with it is, you don't know how

long it's been on the shelves and I don't think some of their oils are the

best quality. I've only used a few of thier oils when I was on a trip and

was desperate. They just don't have the same " smell " as others I have tried.

I work at a natural foods grocery, and buy a fair percent of my soaping

supplies at work. We do not carry NOW EOs. We do carry Aura Cacia and

Oshadhi. I was told today that a local health-food chain submitted NOW’s

supplements to a lab for independent testing, and the results were that the

products were not as labeled. This was their supplements, not their EOs.

Some of their EOs are so cheap that they’d almost have to be adulterated.

I’m passing on this info secondhand, so I don’t know this of my own

knowledge. I do love the Oshadhi EOs but they are pricey!

I have sent them (EO's) for testing. The ones I had tested were

adulterated.
