Mandarin Oils (Was RE: Question for Butch)

Not Butch here, but I will chime in and answer ...

 

Mandarins are collected from September to March. Until mid-November the

essential oil produced with a " Pelatrice " machine is Green Mandarin and

the one obtained with " Sfumatrici " or with continuous presses is Yellow

Mandarin. From December on, it is Red Mandarin with all extractors used.

 

I currently carry the red and green mandarin oils and will soon be

getting yellow mandarin in stock as well! I just love them

I'm studying the Monographs by Martin Watt I purchased from you and I

have a question. What is the difference between Mandarin Red and

Mandarin Green (both Citrus reticulata) on your list of available

oils. I hope I'm making sense...just trying to figure it all out.
