Well, my thinking on the subject is that they're an expected response to

the strong arm tactics of poachers, corrupt governments, and mushy-minded

bureaucrats who allow the rape of the environment. Yin/yang, one can't

exist without the other. Let them all duke it out, we're just here to make

our choice as we see fit. Some will use sandalwood, others will not. Pretty

simple. Just another side of the coin, and we, as aware folks, get to

choose what place on that spectrum to take a stand.

 

So, what's the opposite of the Greens? I'd dub them the Browns, lol.

Deforested, eroded lands, silty runoff in streams, etc, that's their legacy.

the opinion that Eco-Terrorism is not a lot different than the tactics

some groups are now using to insist that legislation should be enacted

to ensure that preferential treatment of certain religious groups should

take precedent over freedom of expression and/or freedom on the press.

 

I know .. some will say that this is not a good analogy .. they will

claim that the interests of a religious group are not the same as the

benefits to the entire world population if we listen to the Greens .. I

say this is Hawg Warsh .. special interests are special interests!

 

I would like to take on this subject right now .. but its a bit after

1400 here and in a half hour I will be playing cards and board games

with a group of Russian friends who are coming over .. so I'll spare

y'all my long and pointed post .. for now .. but its coming later. ;-)

 

Many folks are reluctant to speak out in opposition to the position the

Greens take because to do so will subject them to the slings and arrows

of others who consider the position (and motives) of Greens as being

altruistic. I do speak out and I question their motives .. well ..

lemme be straight and say that I believe that their motives are often

self serving .. they are creating a job for themselves. Everybody has

to do something and this is just another occupation.

 

But .. they (like all who champion crusades against this and that) will

always disregard any information that does not support their positions.

 

Later .. I will present information that I think they overlook .. and my

post will be seen by some folks as sacrilege .. as an attempt to slay ..

or slightly wound .. the Sacred Cows. ;-)
