Guest guest
OH-- I should be less impatient--I 'googled' calendula officinalis and marigold tagetes (after first 'googling' for the latin name for each) I'm guessing as some varieties of each, can darn near look identical, from what I was seeing....you need to look and see which latin name is on the plant/seeds. If it says calendula officinalis--you've got the right one. goody
Guest guest
Smart lady. Thanks! One of the things I’ve learned is to double-check my sources when it comes to herbal information. Many herb books simply pass on information from other herb books. The Little Herb Encyclopedia by Jack Ritchason, N.D., is the one that clearly identifies calencula as the garden marigold.
