Dave, by all means, infuse oil with the calendula petals, and use in your soap.

 

Having done this, I can tell you that there is no prettier bar on the

market! And handcrafted soap is ALWAYS better for your skin, so if there's

any of those properties of the calendar left, it just makes for a bonus!
