H2O2 is hydregen Peroxide and you need a little bit of a chemistry lesson here to understand how it works. I am not a chemisty teacher but can tell you this...that the O has 2 negatives and CA has 2 positives. No CA is Calcium. So what is happening here is that the O is taking the CA out of your teeth. Brushing you teeth with this will give you trouble in the long run as what will happen is they will have to place coatings or veneers over all your teeth once cavities start forming because there is no way to replace the calcium once it has been removed. Short term is as you explain, and we all desire that, but at what price. I had a girfriend in her 50's who was advised to brush her teeth with that to stop gingivitis and she did but then she started her daughter to brush with H2O2 and baking soda. The child is now 21 and has a mess and needs all her teeth capped because she has no enamel left on them. She always had such white and no cavity teeth. Oh you should have heard the yelling she did to her mother for that too late lesson. Everyone will do as they want and that is OK I am not saying anyone is right or wrong. I just wish to give out informed knowledge so people can make up their own minds. Barbara PS: Sorry my replies are lengthy but short answers on these just can not be done. But I did snip most of the message
Guest guest
Barbara, are you sure about this??? I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I have never heard this. I have been brushing with baking soda and tea tree oil for about ten years now, and when I began doing this all my dental problems disappeared. I’m 55 now, so I only have to get another 50 years or so out of these teeth LOL! Dave So what is happening here is that the O is taking the CA out of your teeth. Do you have a source I can study (preferably online)? <snip> -- Swap Your Paperback Books - PaperBackSwap.com <http://www.paperbackswap.com/index.php?n=1 & r_by=raineluvsj >
Guest guest
If it's Chemistry 101, surely it can be found on the internet somewhere? I have found several sites discussing H2O2 and oxidation, but none mention anything about calcium or any detriment to teeth. -Raine, who didn't learn chemistry in school and needs to now! lol sewingstorms wrote: > Hi Raine > > This is chemistry 101...you learn it in school.
