Guest guest
The " O2 " in H2O2 means that there are 2 oxygen atoms in this molecule. When you say that Oxygen has " 2 negatives " , you are talking about oxidation numbers/oxydation states. But anyway, heres a link about bleaching teeth and the effect of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) on teeth.. http://www.bioeng.nus.edu.sg/nanolab/news_maker_12.html Hope this helps Zoe~ , Raine <rainelovesj wrote: > > If it's Chemistry 101, surely it can be found on the internet somewhere? > I have found several sites discussing H2O2 and oxidation, but none > mention anything about calcium or any detriment to teeth. > > -Raine, who didn't learn chemistry in school and needs to now! lol > > sewingstorms wrote: > > Hi Raine > > > > This is chemistry 101...you learn it in school.
