Guest guest
Hi Zoe, This article addresses the usage of concentrated H2O2 over a long period of time; " They found that immersing teeth in *concentrated* hydrogen peroxide *for 24* hours causes certain damage to the hardness and elasticity of the dentine and enamel. Hydrogen peroxide, the active ingredient in most commercially available bleaches, is highly corrosive. " I'm not convinced that we can take the above information and make the leap that 30-60 seconds worth of swishing /brushing with 35% is even remotely as destructive. I don't mean to be contrary at all, I just want to understand if there is a real danger. Thanks, Raine Zoe wrote: > The " O2 " in H2O2 means that there are 2 oxygen atoms in this > molecule.
