Would you use the roots or the leaves? And I guess my question applies to

both herbs!

Thanks

Jeanne

Make tea with dandelion root, and

eat the leaves in spring.

Burdock, you use the root.

It is actually quite a tasty vegetable

too. The Japanese cultivate a variety

of burdock and call it Gobo.

Another nice example of the overlap

between herbs and foods.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you...I was at a pow wow from Thursday

'til Monday and had hundreds of emails to scan.

Dandelion is a true friend to the liver (and many other things as well!) Use

the root of both plants. This tea is meant to be taken for a while...even

every day. These two plants are really good for us all of the time. Again I

do recommend Healing Wise by Susun Weed although I caution if you are a

believer in cleanses she is definetely against them. ;-)
