Guest guest
I found a review of her book about Hydrosols: http://www.aromaticsage.com/JG.htm And she owns her own company in Toronto which is here: http://www.acqua-vita.com/ Sorry, no one probably knows me around here anymore since I suck at posting. The few who do know me remember me from participating in their co-ops. Anyway, I went back to school for nursing last year so right now I'm walking the road towards an RN license. I'm currently getting my CNA license, then I'll head towards my LVN and at night I'm taking biology classes to help me towards my RN license, and if I'm still kicking, I'll keep going till I'm a nurse practitioner. My goal is to incorporate my aromatherapy into my practice. So I have no life at the moment, so excuse me when I butt in here. I do still try to keep up with Martin's course in those odd moments, I'll finish it at some point during all of this. Actually taking all these medical classes has made the material much more understandable, for me anyway. People need to really be careful about what they write because even after all the popularity of aromatherapy, I've found that the general public really don't give a crap. You get a pretty book and some fancy words, they'll buy it and do it and swear up and down that the person who wrote the book is a genius even though there's no resarch material to support their claims. Case in point - Sylvia Brown. (But that's a whole 'nother topic) If you read the first article about Suzanne's book, the review is giving it a big thumbs up and I believe it's simply because Suzanne has a business, handles hydrosols and sounds like she knows what she's talking about. Perhaps one of you here who have the time and experience, can write an alternative article warning people about the dangers of using essential oils on the skin and get it published in the same magazine. That's an idea. Michele Madison Robles Danaomi Scents

I have an in with the editor, I'm sure if I offer her chocolates, get her drunk and offer her some money she'd be delighted to publish it... By the by, That review on her hydrosol book and her class were done over two years ago... certainly before I had heard of her promoting dangerous methods of applications.
