Guest guest
Morning, Dave--and everyone-- Flax/linseed is wonderful in shaving soaps. Moisturizes well--soaks right into the skin, and enhances 'razor glide'. I recently read the difference between classifying an oil as 'flax' as aposed to 'linseed' is flax is from the first pressing--linseed, from subsequent pressings. I know that linseed, if not used in soaps--works great as a furniture oil......that's about all I can add on the subject...<smile>. goody

As a furniture restorer, I know a lot about linseed oil. You can buy “boiled” linseed oil cheaply at Home Depot. Somehow I hadn’t made the connection with the flaxseed oil we sell at work. Thanks to everyone for all the great info! Dave _____
