I got a tip about using 5 drops of Rosemary EO into the hair as a detangler and a conditioner. The tip said to rub in well into the HAIR. I took it a step further, though, and not only did I use it on my hair, I massagd it into my scalp. My hair was shiny, had lots of body and bounce, no tangles, and my scalp felt wonderful. I usually research these kinds of things before I do it, but this time I didn't Shame, shame on me! I will research it today, or ask my herbal teacher. Meanwhile, if anyone has any precautions, please let me know. Thank you and have a wonderful day! Guest guest
I saw the post on using Rosemary on your hair and wanted to add to the post. Hope that's okay! When I battled psoriasis/seborrhea on my scalp & neck I was literally going bald! I was completely desperate and yes, totally vain! I was only 36 years old at the time and had been learning about essential oils and the Dead Sea for about a year and a half. I read that Rosemary would help to stimulate circulation as well as help to strengthen the hair root. I also read the Dead Sea Mud would do the same. I formulated a hair & scalp mask using Rosemary, Peppermint (for a cooling effect), Tea Tree (anti-fungal), Ylang (also stimulates hair growth) and several other eo's. Long story short - I've been 100% clean on my scalp & neck since June 2000! My hair has never looked or felt this good in my entire life! The body and fullness the mask gives my hair has eliminated the need to get " texture " services anymore (that's the new word for Perm now!) Rosemary is also wonderful for combating wrinkles! The Japanese have used it for centuries! It can also be used for aiding in the appearance of cellulite when adding to a hot bath or a body mud wrap! Also revered as an energizer! Tammy D. Guest guest
- Tammy Doering When I battled psoriasis/seborrhea on my scalp & neck I was literally going bald! Tammy, Do I understand correctly that you have a business doing Dead Sea Salt products? If it is OK with you I could pass that on to people on another list who were asking about baldness. Maybe you'll get some customers. Your website please? Ien in the Kootenays
