Guest guest
TAnsy needs to be used with caution , if at all when ingested, it is poisonous. However, Tansy, used to be a big part of the ancient 'Strewing herbs'.. Herbs that used to be sprinkled on the floor in the house to deter vermins etc. The dried , yellow flower heads also look pretty in floral arrangements. Guest guest
I used to have lots of Tansy growing in the front around my porch and the back yard around the fence. I never could figure out what it was good for. Does it deter bugs too or something? I do know the lady that lived here before me was quite eclectic. You just outgas see what she did to the garage! And the house, oh my, all sorts of colors and especially where she started to paint and just quit. No wonder I got such a good deal on this house...
