Guest guest
I tried to make soy candle with eo but still no luck in getting the scent from eo. I have made 2 batches, one with 3% and the other 7%. The first one has a mere trace of scent when dried but none when burnt. The second smell great when dried but still no smell when burnt. Anyone has any clue as for % of eo to put or any other issues that may affect the scent. Appriciate all inputs!!! Butch : I recall u mentioned u have success with this, pls give us some recomendations!!!! Guest guest
Hmmmm . . . I have been making soy votives and used EOs in one batch . . . used 2% and it was great . . . eucalyptus. A man-in-the-know of soy candles told me adding too much will actually cause LESS throw to the scent. I am also certain it depends on the EO. But I certainly am no expert. -Helen I tried to make soy candle with eo but still no luck in getting the scent from eo. I have made 2 batches, one with 3% and the other 7%.
