No medical treatment has seemed to work. Any idea on what she can do? Thanks, LG Hi LG LDM (Lymph Drainage Massage) is worth looking at. A therapist trained in this speciality may be able to help *redirect* the lymph flow toward active glands. This link may explain better than I can at the moment (late in UK!) http:/tinyurl.com/q7gro (I hope that works, my *copy/past* wont work just now, so I've typed it out...) if not, just put Manual Lymph Drainage into Google and check out the results...... This is a serious condition that needs prompt, proper attention. Lymph Drainage Therapy with bandaging can be very helpful. It is important that the practitioner have specialized training in treating lymphedema. Here are a couple of resources for information and to find a trained practitioner: http://www.iahp.com/pages/search/index.php If you have any difficulty with this search system, feel free to contact me off list and I will try to help you locate someone in your area. Also, here is the link for the National Lymphedema Network. There is good information and resources for treatment. It looks like they have a good database of practitioners. http://www.lymphnet.org/ sarah

We both do movements with our arms each day to help dump the toxins from that area and Pray that this will keep it from happening. I know ladies that were not given any treatment and then found info on how to treat themselves and have had some good results with the swelling going down quite a bit. Not gone completely, but more manageable they say. Hope this is of help to your friend. :-) God Bless your life's walk Rita...Homeschooling Mom in Georgia May the ~A~ngels up ~A~bove Guide you with Love ~A~ http://www.tlcsoaps.com/soapmaking.htm

I have seen very good results from massage therapist that specialises in lymph drainage. It is very soft and gentle but has great results and they can teach them to do a little on their own (which should help also between treatments).
