Guest guest
Astrology is not magic. Or at least, no more magic than the existence of a blade of grass. This is a pretty amazing Universe. Astrology is a study of cycles, expressed in a language of symbols. It is an ancient form of philosophy/psychology that remains valid after all the fads have come and gone. The practice of it does not require mystical powers. I prefer a state of clear, awake consciousness, and I like to share the reasonings behind my statements. Just so you can know what to disagree with and get a second opinion on, . Look to the footnotes for the why behind each paragraph where the text doesn't already make it clear. If much of it sounds like plain common sense< that is because astrology is a reflection of life. Dear Butch, Your son's temperament does not exactly shout " army " . If he wanted to be a soldier he should have waited a few weeks and come in as an Aries. If you want to steer him in the direction of national service, don't think army, think intelligence gathering. Seriously! We have a potential James Bond here, operating as a maverick on his wits and considerable charm, rather than a man in uniform giving and following orders. Alexander has a strong mind of his own and will resist being steered anyway, in subtle ways. He will not take kindly to the idea of orders. (1) Butch, please allow this boy to surprise you. He will anyway, you might as well enjoy the journey. (1) Pisces is the sign of the poet, the dreamer, the healer. That doesn't mean there are no Pisces soldiers, depending on the rest of the map. George Washington was a Pisces. But taken by itself, it is not the best sign for an army career. Also, Alexander's energy is more brain than brawn. (2) He thinks well on his feet when his energy is up, which is not all of the time. He has a sensitive, somewhat nervous temperament that will show itself more the older he gets. As a baby, he shows his Moon sign, Taurus, more. Taurus is sturdy, pleasant and even-tempered as long as his basic needs are met. Loves his cuddles and his food and always will. Probably has a smile that will melt the hardest heart. Also stubborn as the proverbial bull! Taurus' motto is: " Let's not fight, let's just do it my way " . Once he is about 5 months old you will start to see the more fretful, changeable nature of Pisces combined with Mars in Gemini show up more.(3) Guess he'll be teething, . He will need periods of rest away from stimulation, otherwise he can rev himself up into exhaustion. This will show up more once he starts having friends. He is very sociable by nature and likely to have lots of friends. Will love joining clubs but will try to bend or change the rules once he is in them.(4) Mother's love will be the rock he can always count on. He may take it a bit for granted, it is so much a part of life. (5) On the other hand, Dad's approval is something that he both craves and feels he has to earn and can't be quite sure of. (6) This clearly shows you, Butch, to be a stabilizing, steadying influence in his life, instilling a sense of responsibility and honor. (7) Exactly what you plan to do, right? It also warns you to be alert for signs that your son's fear of you might interfere with love. (6) Charm galore, will have to beat the ladies off with a stick. (now where would he get that...) The lively imagination and compassionate nature of Pisces combines well with the down-to earth common sense of Taurus. A loyal true friend once his affections are engaged, and a master communicator. Should have no problems mastering 3 languages, for starters. I do hope Tanya speaks Russian to him? The mother tongue is also the mothering tongue. (8) Will probably have to learn the hard way that not all people in this cruel world are as nice as his family. He starts out with a sunny, optimistic view of humanity, and may be taken advantage of by people with fewer scruples. (9) Pisces is the most easily influenced sign of all. He can be led astray by friends and will likely experiment a bit, but he is better than the average person at learning from experience. And he has a sound basis to fall back on. one could go on and on, but I have an assignment to work on....
