OK ..... my first post. Joined this amazing list recently and am very

content to read the posts of wiser people ... don't like the idea of being

described as a 'lurker' much tho! Forgive me but I truly feel I have little

to contribute at this stage.

I live on outskirts of Melbourne and love making aromatherapy CP soap. Yes

all the human children have left home and John and I share our house with 3

Cardigan Corgis.

I am taking an interest in the lymph odema discussion as I have a beloved

Sis-in-law suffering this very problem in her right leg.

Now Cistus oil does not seem to be available in NZ (where she lives) and I

would love to get it for her. However I need clarification as to exactly

what sort of Cistus oil we are talking about to help her - I have found an

Australian supplier who has the oil from leaves and another one from the

resin. Can anybody advise?

BTW my fav. eo at present is Elemi - for soap it seems to retain its

luscious lemony smell, doesn't contain citral so there is no discoloration,

doesn't seem to be interested in overheating and apparently is good for old

skin! What more could I ask for?!!!

And belated congratulations to Papa Butch and family on the safe arrival of

Alexander.

Butch - the Jasmine sambac absolute is going fast!!

Thanks
