Guest guest
My thoughts on this are this a Traditional recipe and depending on where you are these would be hard to come by. I would suggest he consult a TCM practitioner to evaluate him and guide this path. There are TCM practitioner on this list that could help with finding a local practitioner. TCM is wonderful. But this is not something to try without some knowledge. My concern is this: He recently got a copy a man's health magazine and it gives an herbal replacement for steroid therapy. He would like to try it without medical supervision. Now, I am not one to be gung ho about traditional medicine as we know it today, but I do worry since breathing is kinda a basic requirement for life! Can anyone with a solid herbal background please give me an opinion about this " recipe " for ditching traditional asthma treatment and their thoughts on trying something like this without some experienced assistance? 20 grams of ling zhi 9 grams ku shen 3 grams gan cao As far as I know, there was no directions for production or use, and I have no experience with herbs at all... Any thoughts please? I would like to compile responses to give to him with respondents permission. Thanks Laura
