Guest guest
Regarding Oils for Depression...Question My daughter is depressed and pregnant. She is only 2 months along and is having such a hard time. She has an anxiety disorder and was on meds and her doctor has put her on 1/2 dose, so I am sure that is part of it. Of course we all go thru some of it when we get pg but hers is really bad. She is fighting with the babies father and is so tired that she can hardly go to work. I told her she needs to call her doctor tomorrow but I was wondering if there is anything you all suggest that is natural of course and safe for her. Thanks in advance. -

Guest guest
I went on Wellbutrin (same as Zyban) for quitting smoking, and followed the regular doses and then went through a MAJOR (screaming intended, but not too loud) depression when I tried to " wean " myself off it. Recognizing what is happening is a major step in combating the effects of a lower amount of medication. I wouldn't necessarily recommend using any eos (as they may interact even more with the medication she's on), but more natural methods.... breathing exercises, meditation, activity (going on a walk or changing the scenery when you start feeling the anxiety come on). My heart goes out to her... let her know other people feel for her too... great that you are there for her support! Make sure she's also aware of any crisis lines etc incase she needs more help too! Its definitely a hard thing she is going through... Been there, done that. Shelley candi Frost wrote: > Regarding Oils for Depression...Question > My daughter is depressed and pregnant. Guest guest
Candi, I know I am getting repetetive, but try EFT! I cannot think of anything safer than tapping anxiety away. http://tinyurl.com/ggknp This goes straight to the section on anxiety. Download the e-book and start learning for free, and if you want to really get into it order the videos. Good luck with it! I guess I should have said that they don't nornally fight and are so happy about this new baby coming and adding to the family. I was serious and asking for help not smart remarks. Yes. Why? Because she as an anxiety disorder that, prior to her pregnancy, she has been masking (covering up, ignorning, denying, turning the other cheek, whatever). Her pregnancy is now forcing her to deal with her anxiety issues because her dosage has been lowered. My remark is a smart one, but a useful one at best. Simple truth. It goes something like this: I will stop fighting with DH. I can't stop fighting. Why? What am I feeling inside? What sets me off? What, what, what, why, why, why? Her answers lie within her. Her answers are not contained within medications, doctors, etc. Oils are not curative. They can calm her, and allow her to explore her inner life. Depression is merely a sign that one is off track in one's life. She needs to go within and begin with the fighting issue with her husband. If she's normally very happy in her marriage, then this is the perfect place, " safe and natural " I believe were your words, to start. We take things (emotional energies) on while in utero. She will pass her anxiety disorder on to her baby if she doesn't figure it out. When she explores the emotions behind the fighting, she will begin to discover her truth, and perhaps the basis for her anxiety disorder. Emotions lie at the core of all dis-ease. Medications treat the symptoms, they do not cure the illness. Sorry for the jumping around in topic matters, but I wanted to get these things said before I head out my door. BTW, my remark was not meant to be flip or " smart aleck " . It's an answer.
