Guest guest
Dear Tam, I had NO idea that Tumeric was called " Haldi " . It is one of my favourite herbs. I take it nearly every day in Turmeric Super tonic ( Ithink I have posted the recipe before) as it is soooo good for the joints... So putting Haldi into my search engine turned up an AMAZING list of uses. I use it also everyday as a flavouring agent. No meat, fish or chicken escapes being doused in it and I use it in all my herbal sauces. Never thought of putting it on my forehead (would be a bit concerned as it does STAIN) but seems like a good idea!!! Thank you for giving me some more information on a herb which I thought I knew all about........Herbally yours Penny -- Penny Khaled http://tinyurl.com/bfnyd http://www.geocities.com/pennykhaled75 http://www.organicnutrition.co.uk

(The hero's walk) One secondary character has mossy-greeny skin, because she used to rub herself with a turmeric paste daily, in an effort to lighten her skin. Just so you're forwarned! Canada is blessed with some excellent authors from that part of the world. Rohintan Mistry is another one.
