Guest guest
Hi - I've tamed several feral cats and the best way I've found is to let them be present while you interact with a tame cat who trusts you already. They will take their cues from the tame cat. Another way that has worked well for me is, when you have them neutered/spayed, take them home a little groggy. That way, you will be able to touch them. They seem to remember that you were the one to nurse them back to recovery (and forget that you were the one who brought them to the vet to begin with!). A trick for keeping cats out of plants, both indoors and out, is to spread grated orange rind in the soil around the plant. They don't like the smell. hth, Sandy
Guest guest
Thanks Sandy for your comment below, if there is one thing that I have an abundance of here its oranges , its all we eat during the winter. I will try this today. Have a great weekend.. A trick for keeping cats out of plants, both indoors and out, is to spread grated orange rind in the soil around the plant.
