[Dave:] I agree that’s one advantage of HP. And not the only one. The reason I prefer CP is that during the cure is IMO when the synergies develop that can make the soap really special. I use a lot of herbs, both decocted into my water and ground in the soap itself. The way these ingredients interact with the oils and botanical essences during the cure process is something that I’ve never been able to reproduce with HP. And this is exactly why I have no problem with the way anyone makes soap. Every method has its advantages, and is suitable for its own avenues of creativity.
