Hi Rita - Blessings to you for posting your recipe for Whipped

Velvet Body Butter #3! I fiddled with it just a titch to make

Mommie's Belly Butter and got the texture I really like and was

having a tough time getting on my own. I put my amended batch

together and whipped enough to combine everything, poured in jars

and waited to see if it worked. Well, no go - just a solid pot of

balm. An then, eureka! It occurred to me that if you called it

whipped velvet, you had to whip it for a while! I put my tall jar

in a bowl of ice water and whipped. Got called away to the phone -

it had hardened up by the time I got back. I melted it half way

again and whipped again with the jar in the icewater bowl and got

called away again (you guys know this routine.)

Anyway, finally the butter whipped up beautifully and I'm thrilled.

This is my amended version - made it a little simpler, with fewer

ingredients.

Mommie's Belly Butter

2 oz Jojoba

2 oz fractionated coconut oil

1.5 oz deodorized shea

1.5 oz cocoa butter

3 oz stearic acid

1 t vitamin E

Melted the shea, cocoa butter and stearic acid. Blended the jojoba,

fractionated coconut and vitamin e. Blended the two mixes together

in a tall jar with a stick blender. Put the jar in a bowl of ice

water and whip ittermittenly (sp?) until it gets to a texture

similar to whipped cow's butter or tub margerine. Pour in jars and

cap - let set.

Peace,

MaryEllen
