Guest guest
Thanks, Butch - much obliged. Lately I've been prone to getting these kinds of solicitations. I very nearly went for one on shea, but I found out they didn't test it, so I went to one of the more well-known REPUTABLE companies for it. I truly do appreciate that you looking out for us. BTW - now here's a shameless plug that I hope I don't annoy anyone when I say this ...... I used Butch's Anise EO in CP soap last week (swirled with black) - WHOA! Great stuff! I'd add a photo, but for some reason wouldn't let me...... : ) Cindy - Below is a reply I sent to a spam post received today .. no doubt this person is sending the same post to many folks .. likely the addresses were harvested from a news group. If one writes to this person and asks for smaller quantities, odds are they will be able to purchase the oil is a smaller size .. it is not possible to get something for nothing. It is possible to get nothing for something! <snipped>
Guest guest
Hi y'all, Below is a reply I sent to a spam post received today .. no doubt this person is sending the same post to many folks .. likely the addresses were harvested from a news group. If one writes to this person and asks for smaller quantities, odds are they will be able to purchase the oil is a smaller size .. it is not possible to get something for nothing. It is possible to get nothing for something! I feel comfortable passing along this e-mail because its not private correspondence .. its spam .. and its attempted fraud! Any person who makes such a purchase is guaranteed to come out of the deal with more knowledge and less money .. they will not get their money back. Caveat Emptor!! Y'all have a good one .. and keep smiling. :-) Butch Hi Tony, I have no idea what you (or your distiller) are selling, and I think you also have no idea. You sent this SPAM post to a person who is one of the more knowledgeable folks on Rose Otto production .. ME! There is NO WAY you can purchase Bulgarian Rosa damascena even from the still in Bulgaria for less than $6,000 a kilo. Even the raw materials (Rose Blossoms) needed to produce a kilo costs a bit more than $5,000!! I would recommend you be careful when making such offers because the telephone area code you list below (303) is in the state of Colorado .. the last time I heard, that state has laws against Fraud! Whether you know it or not .. the product you are offering is NOT pure Bulgarian Rose Otto, hydro-steam distilled from the blossoms of the Damask Rose (Rosa damascena). And since I received this post as unrequested SPAM .. I intend to warn others that such ridiculous offers are being made! Have a good day ..
