Guest guest
Dear Nika, Thank you so much for your generous information. I wil certainly be taking your advise and packing the moisturizer and several eo's for purposes that you mention. I hadn't even thought of taking something just because I like it or for relaxing. Once again thanks. Your suggestions and those of the other folks that responded has certainly meant a lot and I will take everyones advise and hopefully we'll make it through okey dokey. Sincerely, Margaret <snipped> >Here is what we always take with us: >Moisturizer, to be liberally applied all over the exposed skin, >including face, neck and hands/arms; >A few clean hanckies - for sniffing EOs; >Lavender hydrosol in a spray bottle (!!!). That, along with >moisturizer, does an awesome job keeping us refreshed. >Essential oils: (i) eucaliptus (ii) rosemary, (iii) lavender, (iv) clary >sage, and (v) grapefruit or orange, whichever works best to get you in a >better mood. > >At the beginning of the flight I want to protect myself from the bugs, >so I sniff rosemary or eucaliptus (and continue doing that a few times >through the flight). >To calm down I use lavender EO. >To help me go to sleep after a meal I use clary sage, if I even need >that - oftentimes lavender alone would do the job. >After I wake up, usually all dry and drousy, I'd repeat the >moisturizer+hydrosol routine and finish waking up with rosemary and my >citrus oils. That usually gets me nicely alert and cheerful to deal with >the US border patrol. >And drink lots of water! > >Hope that helps. Have a fun honey moon!
