I've had a few folks ask " What can I do with floral waxes? " .. well ..

here go some ideas ...

A small piece of these lovely floral waxes can be placed in any of the

diffuser varieties of aroma perfume jewelry, such as these that I carry

....

One could use a floral wax (such as Jasmine or Orange Blossom) in

scenting applications that would normally be too cost prohibitive to use

the oils of those botanicals in (such as making candles or soap).

They are beginning to be more widely used in cosmetics and perfume

applications. Donna Maria's Make Your Own Cosmetics site has some

recipes for Jasmine Wax and Floral Wax .. just type jasmine wax and

orange blossom wax into the search box ...

Here is a body butter recipe that was included in the info I sent out

with the floral wax buy from 2 years ago ...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This recipe makes a light and airy, wonderfully floral scented shea body
butter (using the floral wax of your choice)
Spring Fling Floral Shea Body Butter:
3 oz Unrefined, Light Colored, Shea Butter
1 oz Virgin Coconut Oil
1 oz Floral Wax
2-4 drop Rose Otto (optional)
Begin by whipping the Shea Butter at a high speed in an electric mixer.
Note - your Shea Butter needs to be soft, at room temperature, to do
this. Meanwhile, warm the Virgin Coconut Oil and Floral Wax over very
low heat until the wax is melted. DO NOT OVERHEAT! I find that it is
best to turn off the heat under the oil/wax mixture when the wax is not
quite completely melted, and then let it continue to fully melt without
the heat on. Turn off your mixer to add oils. While warm, slowly pour
the oil/wax mixture into the whipped Shea Butter. Add drops of Rose
Otto. Quickly turn mixer on high again. Continue mixing until creamy.
Place into containers. Enjoy!
They can be used as is when making exquisite solid perfumes. They can
also be tinctured to make liquid perfumes.
For the home they can be included in making sachet mixtures, wax
pomanders and scented wax tarts.
A scented sealing wax can be made with: 2 parts beeswax, 2 part
carnauba wax and 1 part soft floral wax (if using a hard floral wax
reduce amount of carnauba wax to 1 part).
I hope that gives y'all some ideas and inspiration.
