in one way...and one way only, it could. ie, of the smell of lilac

reminds me of happy memories in my grandmother's house, a GOOD synthetic

lilac might bring back the feelings of those memories.

will a synthetic rose strengthen my spirit the way true rose otto does, or

will a synthetic pink grapefruit energize me the way the real thing

does? will synthetic orange blossom bring a halt to a panic attack? I

don't think so.

will something that smells like eucalyptus ease a sinus head ache? I don't

know? but I KNOW the synthetics won't have the antibacterial or anti

fungal effects of the oils.

will imitation lavender and imitation helichrysum ease pain and

inflamation? I doubt it!
