Guest guest
Here is a tip for anyone making liquid soap. Now, I don't sell mine, but do make it a couple 2-3 times a year for personal use. After i dilute it, I store it in the bottles that my fo's came in. These invariably have some fo left in them and it seems to be just the right amount to compliment the soap. There's your hints from Heloise/Patti for the day. Guest guest
Do you ever have mold grow? I tried that once...added some leftover soap to some water & by the end of the week it had cooties!! ( Of course the trick might be to use it quickly & not " store " it...unless maybe you add a preservative? Just curious!! donna Donna Buchholz Something Different Soap & Things www.somethingdifferentsoap.com - Christine Ziegler I did something very similar a few weeks ago. I made up a fresh batch of my Nanny's Patchouli Goat Milk bar soap. After trimming them I took the shavings and put them into an empty container that I once had rose hydrosol in. I then added water and turned it into liquid house cleaning soap. It smells SO wonderful that I'm going to be making an ultra-luxury soap scent blend with the genuine patchouli, vanilla AND rose! I really do feel glutinous cleaning my bathrooms with true patchouli/vanilla/ rose castile soap toilet bowl cleaner, but I have two little boys and a 6'3 " tall man that live with me, so I feel that I am justified in making my bathrooms smell as wonderful as possible whenever I can *lol* *Smile* Chris (list mom)
