Looks like these monographs may not be specifically about essential

oils but rather about the herbs and/or certain chemical constituents

(lysine, for example).

These are supposed to be essential oil monograms, I was part of the early

discussions when the government were looking for people to put these

research and put them together. I had a few things going on in my personal

life so I had to withdraw.

Things may have changed, but at that time the deadline was 2 months away

and these had to be done. If it changed so be it, what can I say?

Now, where did you get the impression that Evening Primrose oil is not an

oil? Evening Primrose oil is extracted from the seed and refined.

Martin Watt describes it in his course.

I just knew when I posted the link, I would get lots of wonderful response.

:-)..

Some of these items are not essential oils? Evening Primrose Oil?

Cranberry? Where did it indicate essential oils?

The original concept of the monograms were for Essential Oils, that was one

of the concerns that Martin and Lynn Bosman had, that the information about

the herb would end up in the oil info. Looks like it has happened. Or that

the government decided to cover everything.

This information is available from Health Canada, anyone selling essential

oils or herbs are supposed to be referred to this list.. Gotta love the

government.
