Guest guest
Lynette, Thank you for your generous donation and all others , too.,. Got enough now, that I am thinking of making also sticks with my famous green goop* to heal bug bites, and a zilllion other things. * Green Goop some plantain leaves ( fresh) some comfrey leaves, chopped up, ( fresh) some dried calendula flowers stuff into a clean glass jar and fill with olive oil Heat on the lowest heat possible in a double boiler for several hours ( do not let the water boil down and never get the oil to boil) Strain through a coffeefilter . Back into the double boiler and add beeswax, enough for a salve consistency. When the beeswax is melted add a afew drops of Vit.E, lavender EO and TTree, stir well. Fill into small containers. For 'sticks in lip balm tubes, add more beeswax. Sorry that I have no acurate measurements, maybe someone else can figure that out Thanks again. Guest guest
Christa Maria.. You might like to consider using soy wax flakes instead of using bees wax. I find it as good as bees wax for consistancy, melts at a lower temperature and absorbs better than beeswax for balms etc. Plus you can market it as Vegan for a larger audience.
