Guest guest
Tendons take their time to heal, recovering from surgery does too.. There is no 'fast' fix... One , tape the finger next to the other , so it can keep mobility , but has rest. If you have fresh comfrey leaves, make nightly poultices from it, or use dried, reconstituted comfrey, fresh work best. Also Marge's suggestion of SJW infused oil with heli is excellent. Remember, a tendon will take it's time to heal, it all depends on the severity of the injury and if the Doc says you could be crippled from it, than surgery might be your last option... Good luck, C-M
Guest guest
CM, sure glad you posted this as well as putting in Marge's suggestion, as I didn't get hers in my inbox, or my spam box for that matter. Dang ! Guess I need to go through the site and read all posts for the last few days. BTW, finger is doing much better, but I do tape it to the index finger at night as I found that I curl it or something during the night and it is always swollen a little in the morning. Have a little Heli, and will have to get some SJW to infuse. Thanks to all for your responses, even if I didn't receive them<G>!
