sweet milk

Sweet milk is fresh milk, buttermilk is milk left after making butter (use

to be) now it is man made and has strange ingredients in it. When you had

sweet milk you usually had sour milk in the ice box too (dates back before

refrigerators).

ok..this was the only thing that I didn't hear growing up.

 

I know what buttermilk is...nasty! But what is sweet milk?
