Guest guest
This is a tad off topic, but I figured this is the best group to ask. I've read several Feng Shui books, but I picked up a new one at the library that I'm finding interesting and helpful in a more pragmatic way than the usual, " use this color, put this here, don't use this door " sort of thing. The book suggests a salt crystal " lamp " to help neutral EMF's. Does anyone know what they're talking about? I've never heard of such a lamp before. Susan H. Guest guest
Susan, Sounds like Black Hat Sect Feng Shui to me! (That's Americanized Feng Shui) Kinda like a taco from Taco Bell is NOT mexican! You won't find a salt lamp being touted by a real feng shui master! ~J~ (who studied Compass Sect Feng Shui with a Master) Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
We got one for Christmas and we love it. It can be used to clean the air too, and it helps get rid of odors like when we burn food -- oops -- very well. It is soothing to look at, a pretty glowing orange light. Guest guest
I just bought one. Actually it's a Salt Crystal candle holder, but the general idea is that when the rock/crystal heats up it emits negative ions which is good for the indoor environment since we normally have positive ions that are the harmful ones. Beeswax candles are also good for this. Margaret > >This is a tad off topic, but I figured this is the best group to ask.
