amen to that!!!!!

although, I am wondering if we had initially set it up as a 'bakery'

whether that mighthave worked.

bring in huge bags of flour, etc... use a tiny amt in a finished

product.... would it deduct the flour used, and other ingredients, and

then add a loaf of whatever???

if set up that way, it could be tweaked to apply to us.

Hi Marge. Sorry it still wouldn't work for you that way.

QuickBooks inventory is great if you buy items and sell items. or buy 20 parts

to make 1 item and sell that.

But it is not good (yet) if you buy 1kg of this and 2 kg of that and 5 gallons

of this and then make a host of products from that combination. The financial

side of QB is great the inventory side is limited. AK would be great to cost out

your products and then use the QB inventory to track your saleable products.

if anyone has any questions about QuickBooks I will be happy to assist you

offline. Just e-mail me directly.
