Hi Marge. Sorry it still wouldn't work for you that way. QuickBooks inventory is great if you buy items and sell items. or buy 20 parts to make 1 item and sell that. But it is not good (yet) if you buy 1kg of this and 2 kg of that and 5 gallons of this and then make a host of products from that combination. The financial side of QB is great the inventory side is limited. AK would be great to cost out your products and then use the QB inventory to track your saleable products. if anyone has any questions about QuickBooks I will be happy to assist you offline.
