Awesome! > Two essential oil distillers - one who specialized in Lavender and one > who wild crafted herbs to distill. > (don't ask me how much Lavender EO I carried home - grin) > Visited several herb gardens ... they were to die for. > Toured the Popes Palace and Gardens in Avignon. > Visited with an organic herb veggie grower who is the chef at a > wonderful restaurant. The owner of which indicated that Lance Armstrong > was a good friend and frequent guest. > Had a nice 1/2 day at a spa complete with massage. > Took more photos of plants and quaint old old buildings then one could > imagine. > Visited the oldest family owned Nougat factory in Sault. > Shopped at three outdoor markets - kind of like a street fair - clothes, > linens, soap, bread, cheese, fish - you name it they had it. > Could not resist and bought one bar of Marsielle soap a big hunk - 10 > ounces for around $5 US > Stopped at a pastry shop every day of the trip - I think I consumed > around 8 Tarts de Citron and lots more wonderful goodies. > > I think there was more but I am too tired to recall.
