Hi All ~

A big thanks to Butch for the Oregano Oil - I inhaled that stuff often.

I am Jet lagged - put on at least 10 lbs. - happy as a clam. The DH

> unfortunately has a bad chest problem - too much travel Hawaii, Ohio and

> France in too short a time. His immune system is pretty weak and he got

> sick <again>- being around one gal who coughed on us all for three days

> before she took a day off and stayed at the hotel. I was inhaling

> oregano oil to stay well.

>

> We were in Paris for 3 days and Haute Provence for 10 days.

> Absolutely then best vacation we have ever taken.

> Our group leader in Provence was Rosemary Gladstar - herbalist from Sage

> Mountain. (we did Paris on our own)

> Highlights:

> Truffle dog trainer and hunter - served us a 5 course meal with truffles

> in each course. Then we went truffle hunting. Awesome!

> Two essential oil distillers - one who specialized in Lavender and one

> who wild crafted herbs to distill.

> (don't ask me how much Lavender EO I carried home - grin)

> Visited several herb gardens ... they were to die for.

> Toured the Popes Palace and Gardens in Avignon.

> Visited with an organic herb veggie grower who is the chef at a

> wonderful restaurant. The owner of which indicated that Lance Armstrong

> was a good friend and frequent guest.

> Had a nice 1/2 day at a spa complete with massage.

> Took more photos of plants and quaint old old buildings then one could

> imagine.

> Visited the oldest family owned Nougat factory in Sault.

> Shopped at three outdoor markets - kind of like a street fair - clothes,

> linens, soap, bread, cheese, fish - you name it they had it.

> Could not resist and bought one bar of Marsielle soap a big hunk - 10

> ounces for around $5 US

> Stopped at a pastry shop every day of the trip - I think I consumed

> around 8 Tarts de Citron and lots more wonderful goodies.

>

> I think there was more but I am too tired to recall. Off to process

> orders and continue with the opening mail, doing laundry - yada yada -

> you know all the stuff one needs to get done as the price for a great

> vacation
