If you think you might be able to join us, please also join the ABQAT (ABQAT/), so that you can follow any updates for the meeting. Thanks, and I hope to meet you there! Christina ----- It's time for an official welcome to join us in Albuquerque this Summer. Here are the basics for our trip: Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico July 28-30, 2006 Here's the schedule: Friday Arrive in the evening Check in and meet fellow attendees Saturday A full day of presentations and discussions, in a classroom setting, at the University of New Mexico Lunch at the reasonably priced (cheap), world-famous, Frontier Restaurant - with a huge John Wayne display Dinner and a few surprises Sunday Check out and one last group meet Leave together for the Botanical Garden and Aquarium Depart as needed No matter what your level of use or knowledge, there will be something gained at this weekend. --Meet people you have only seen on the web. --Meet suppliers & get to know their products in person. --Familiarize yourself with new terms. --Get all your questions answered. If you are a vendor, you will expose your product to a small, supportive group of interested individuals, who will then go home and share what they have seen with others. What does it cost? We ask for a contribution of $35.00, for each person who plans to attend Saturday's classroom session. This will allow us to pay for the room, and cater in some snacks and drinks, since we are not allowed to bring in anything from outside. This will also cover printing, mailings and other incidental costs incurred over the weekend. Just a reminder that accomodation and transportation costs, along with food and attractions, are the responsibility of those attending. We will be mindful of price when picking out locations for group meals. How to sign-up? There are two parts: First, fill out the information request form, available in the files part of the ABQAT. Email this, offlist, at the email below. Please do not post this to the group. Second, please send the $35.00 contribution. This can be done via check or paypal...please let me know your preference when you email the information request, above. If I receive both of these by June 30th, a spot will be reserved. Once we get a final count, we can make adjustments to improve the trip, as necessary. We are definitely holding the meeting, so have no fear of cancellations or postponement.
