Guest guest
Hi there, I am new to the group. I practice acupuncture and herbal therapy in NYC. I wanted to know if anyone knows of a good school in the area for aromatherapy, or a teacher to apprentice with. thanks, LAura
Guest guest
I can recommend Martin Watt's aromatherapy course. It's a correspondence course, but well worth the inexpensive price. I did a lot of research into schools and many of them are way overpriced and their information they supply you with dodgy telling you that you will be " certified " after finishing the course. Aromatherapy is NOT a certifiable field at the moment, so they aren't being truthful. I am currently taking Martin's course along with going to school for nursing. His course is better designed for the medical professional and with your acupuncture, it will be well worth it. http://www.av-at.com/coursedetails.html Michele Madison Robles Danaomi Scents , " acu.mama " <acugirl wrote: > > Hi there, > I am new to the group. Guest guest
I'm in the middle of Laraine Klye's course and am finding it fascinating, well organized and very informative. There are many practical hands on exercises, as well as homework including case studies. The homework that I've turned in has been commented on thoroughly by Laraine, with a wealth of suggestions and additional information. She's also readily available by email and is providing me with much personal attention towards those areas in aromatherapy that I plan to use in my work. I would highly recommend Laraine's course. I too looked many places and am very glad I made the decision to go with a course that gives me so much personal attention.
